What a lovely bridge. It looks like it could be something out of the medieval period. You are so good, Carol, about visiting around your state. The next time the husband whisks me away for a short getaway, we’ll have to go to Oregon.

Oh, thank you, Stefanie. There is so much to see and do here in Oregon that, even after having lived here for 26 years, there’s always something new to see. You should definitely come up for a visit – it’s a beautiful place!

Carol, whenever you have time, can you message me a list of places you’ve been to in Oregon that’s kid friendly. We like trails. I told Eric I don’t want to go to Portland because we come from the city and need to explore more outdoor like places.

Sure! We used to have a book of the best places to go with kids, but hubby says we don’t have that anymore. I’ll try to come up with some of the places we’ve gone.

Thank you. He and I were taking about next summer’s trip. Oregon was mentioned besides Seattle’s Olympia coast where there’s a rainforest. Vancouver too. Our girls have energy so walking and exploring is good for them.

Oregon and Washington are awesome for outdoor exploring! There’s so much to do! Mountains and the ocean are just an hour or two from here, and the Columbia River Gorge is also fantastic. Central Oregon has amazing hiking…lava tubes…and that’s just off the top of my head!
