Calla Lily is an elegant cabled wrap,  inspired by Art Deco fashion, which flourished in the 1930s and earlier.  In madcap comedies like Bringing Up Baby, elegant accessories reigned, whether the characters were larking it up on the golf course or traipsing around the countrysideWear it draped over one shoulder Katharine Hepburn-style or clasped around the neck.

This triangular wrap is knit flat, bottom-up and sideways, with increases worked along one edge only.  The cable is fun and interesting to work, and the rest of the wrap is worked in garter stitch.

Skills Needed: Yarn over increases and ssk, k2tog and sl1-k2tog-psso decreases.  Instructions for cables are provided.  Shawl instructions are provided as charts or line-by-line written instructions, except for top garter stitch border, which is written only.
