Yarn: 175 yards [160m] DK or light worsted yarn.
Buttons: 2 shank buttons, 3/8 – 5/8 in [1 – 1.6 cm]
Needles: Size US 3 [3.25 mm] straight or circular needles
Size US 2 ½ [3 mm] straight or circular needles
Gauge: 24 st and 37 rows = 4 in. in Stockinette Stitch on larger needles. Row gauge not as important as stitch gauge.
