Technicolor: Movie Night
Pattern VII: Rannoch Moor Swing Coat by Sue McCain
In Sue’s own words:
The Rannoch Moor Swing Coat was named for a boggy moorland of about 50 squares miles located in the Scottish Highlands. It’s lonely, desolate, and stunningly beautiful, and a place I want to revisit in every season. The coat is long enough and wide enough at the bottom edge that it covers the saddle and keeps you warm as you ride [Sue is a horsewoman]. The twisted knit panels that run down the front and back are textural evocations of cables and Scottish plaid.

Technicolor: Movie Night is a collection of eight designs by four designers and is being offered in a staggered release.
Today, and prior to next week’s release, the entire collection is $36.66. The price increases incrementally each week, ending with a final selling price of $40. No matter when you purchase the collection, you will own the entire e-book as each new pattern is added (updates will be sent to you as each new pattern is added). Next week we’ll add the final installment, Sue’s Holyrood Hooded Scarf.
The e-book is available on Payhip and Ravelry.
Individual patterns may be purchased from the independent designers about two weeks after the complete collection has been released (in December).
Just a note that three of the patterns were included in the Technicolor: Matinee collection and are already available individually. Those patterns are my Calla Lily Wrap, Knit Eco Chic’s On the Set, and Sue McCain’s Holyrood Hooded Scarf (link goes to Ravelry).
We’re so excited to offer this collection with you!! Grab it this week for a still-great deal – and enjoy!
xoxo
